1 Minute Moist Mug Cake & Mug Brownie | This Recipe works with Ragi/Oats/Regular Flour!



Sharing a simple and quick recipe with a healthy twist - a moist & soft Mug Cake and a super fudgy Mug Brownie that can be made in a minute! They come out too delicious and are a quick healthy fix for your Chocolate Cake/Brownie cravings. Kids love this one!


Initially, I made this mug cake and mug brownie with Ragi Flour. Later I tried with Oats flour and all purpose flour (Maida) and it turned out just great.


Just pick your flour and get it baking!



Ingredients


Mug Cake

  • 2 Tbsp Ragi Flour (or Oats or All Purpose Flour )

  • 1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder

  • 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar (Jaggery or Sugar)

  • ¼ Tsp Baking Powder

  • 1 Tbsp Unflavored oil (Olive or Sunflower) Or Butter

  • 2 Tbsp Curd

  • 1 Tbsp Milk

  • 1 Tbsp Chocolate Chips

Mug Brownie

  • 2 Tbsp Ragi Flour

  • 2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder

  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar (Jaggery or Sugar)

  • 2 Tbsp Curd

  • 2 Tbsp Milk

  • 1 Tbsp Chocolate Chips

Take a 200 to 240 ml Microwave safe mug/cup.


Mug Cake

  • Add all the dry ingredients one by one, Ragi flour (or Oats flour or All purpose flour/Maida), Cocoa Powder, Brown Sugar, and Baking powder to the cup

  • Mix well so that there are no lumps.

  • Add the wet ingredients one by one, Oil, Curd, and Milk.

  • Mix well, making sure there is no dry ingredients left out at the bottom.

  • Now add the chocolate chips and mix it in.

  • Microwave for 1 Minute to 1 Minute 30 Sec until toothpick inserted at the center comes our clean or almost clean (remember there is chocolate chips). Please check after 1 Minute. And then microwave in increments of 5 sec. Generally its done at exactly 1 Minute.

  • Let it cool for about a minute before you dig in!



Mug Brownie

  • Add all the dry ingredients one by one, Ragi flour (or Oats flour or All purpose flour/Maida), Cocoa Powder, Brown Sugar to the cup.

  • Mix well so that there are no lumps.

  • Add the wet ingredients Curd, and Milk.

  • Mix well, making sure there is no dry ingredients left out at the bottom.

  • Now add the chocolate chips and mix it in.

  • Microwave for 1 Minute to 1 Minute 10 Sec until toothpick inserted at the center comes our clean or almost clean (remember there is chocolate chips). Please check after 1 Minute. And then microwave in increments of 5 sec. Generally its done at exactly 1 Minute.

  • Let it cool for about a minute before you dig in!
