Mint-Coriander Chutney/Dip

Here is a nice and easy recipe to make Green chutney for Cutlets/Kebabs/Kathi rolls. This chutney is made from fresh mint and coriander/cilantro.

  • 1 cup Coriander leaves/Cilantro

  • ½ cup Mint leaves

  • 2 green chili

  • 1 tsp freshly roasted Cumin/Jeera powder

  • ½ tsp salt (regular or pink salt)

  • ½ tsp chaat masala(optional)

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • ¼ cup of water

  • 2 tbsp nicely whipped curd


  • To a blender, add the coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chili, jeera powder, chaat masala, salt (regular or pink salt).

  • Add ¼ cup water.

  • Blend it into a fine paste.

  • Transfer to a bowl. Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon or 2 tbsp lemon juice or as per taste.

  • Add 2 tbsp nicely whipped curd.

  • Mix well.

  • Green chutney/dip/sauce for cutlets/kebabs/Kathi rolls is ready.
